COOKING - My Special Holiday Pancakes

WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT PANCAKES

This is my favorite time of year and I also get to make one of my favorite special breakfasts for the kids.
It all begins with a bag of these yummy Hersheys Kisses:

Unwrap them and cut them up into smaller pieces.


Next Step: OPTIONAL
You can just by whipped cream, but I wanted to make some (saved $2)
Pour a pint of heavy whipping cream into a glass or metal bowl. Along with 2 tablespoons sugar (powdered or granulated) and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
Whip on high speed. You can also use a hand held whisk or go by hand (by hand will take awhile and your arm will get tired)




Its hard to explain the consistency, you want it thick, but not too thick and not runny. 


Pancake batter:
Make your regular pancake batter.
Take some peppermint extract and what I do is just fill the lid and pour that in. Adjust to your serving size.


Next take the Hersheys Kisses you cut up and pour them into the bowl and mix it all together!


Make your pancakes as your normally would and finish by topping it it with yummies like syrup and your whipped cream, then ENJOY!
