Being a Mom

This is my beautiful family. As you can see I have three munchkins and a wonderful husband (of course you can't see the wonderful part) Starting from oldest to youngest I have my step-daughter Meah(right), my son Preston(middle), and my daughter Isabelle(left). I have my hands full for sure and to top it all off I am only 26-years-old. People tend to think I am crazy... maybe a little, but I LOVE being a mom, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole world.
While being a mother of three I also run my own business while the kids are in school. I opened a Portrait Studio and Art Gallery called Blue Orchid Photography which opened May 1st, 2013 (very new). You can check out my website at www.blueorchidgallery.com and also my facebook page at www.facebook.com/blueorchidgallery and 'LIKE' my page there if you'd like. Lately it has been a struggle trying to juggle my business, my husbands business and the three kids.

We also have 5 pets, 4 dogs and 1 cat whom keep our lives even more full of love, we never feel alone that's for sure. This right here is Loki he is my baby. My husband got him for me when I was having baby fever again when my youngest turned 4. He's the perfect little filler for my heart and I haven't had baby fever again since he joined my life. (Pretty smart husband right there, 3 kids is enough for us, ha).  I love him so much I started a blog for him to you can visit that at http://lokithechihuahua.blogspot.com/

My husband is just the best dad. He only had Meah when he met me and he took me and my kids in with open hands and so much love. My kids love him and of course so do I. He has been such a great father and fills our lives with joy and adventure. We have gotten to travel and see so many things together, he has shown me so much more than I ever would've without him. I love that we take the kids all over and they get to experience so much in life, so much culture and the beauty of what surrounds us. I am thankful for my husband everyday.

These are my goof-balls. This is a perfect example of how they are most days... always getting into things they aren't suppose to and actually I told them they could paint their hands, but SPECIFICALLY said do not paint anyone's face! But, as you can see, they completely disregarded that, but I actually found it quite amusing this time around and had to take a picture of it and share it with everyone.
These kiddos constantly test me everyday to see where my boundaries are and I must say this age that they are right now has been the hardest especially when my oldest pulls the "I wish you weren't in my life" card, but we always get passed it. Overall I have some pretty awesome kids. I know I'm doing a good job when they always friend the new kid in school, stand up for each other when someone else is being mean, is polite at other peoples house's (but of course never at home). We go though our struggles, our giggles and everything else together as a family and some of those things I will share here in my blog.
