Photography

As a mother of three I find it hard to WANT to go back to work full time so I don't. I started my own business Blue Orchid Photography (formally Annamarie Farrell Photography). I started out of my home, then opened my own portrait studio and gallery. When no one took advantage of the portrait studio and I was only doing on-location photography I closed the studio and now just have an office space and do only on-location sessions and weddings.

My website is www.blueorchidgallery.com and my Facebook page is
www.facebook.com/blueorchidgallery

If you are ever in Oregon and need some pictures taking give me a call!

Here I will be posting some of my favorites pictures I have taken.
I also have a site where you can purchase some of my photos: www.society6.com/blueorchidphotography

The Painted a Hills, Oregon

I have been wanting to go here for about 4 years or so and finally got to go. It was 97 degrees outside and so very very dry. It was beautiful though. It looks so amazing and what's ever cooler is that from far away it almost looks like 'smooth' hills but close up it is actually very dry rock that is so close together you can only see the cracks on the surface from up close. If you ever in this area definitely go see it, but it is in the middle of know where so don't go here just for this.

The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California

My husband got me the best birthday present this year! A National Geographic Photography Workshop in San Francisco. Awesome, right. This was a three day class but funny we never got to see the bridge too foggy. I spent some time in Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the "Italian" neighborhood, and Lombard St. On my last day here my girlfriend took me to the Sutton Baths and I got a great view of the Bridge for the first time I was there. Yay!

Brookings, Oregon - Ocean Mornings

I took this picture on my honeymoon. We were in Brookings and heard about a place called the Natural Bridges (very pretty). We got there just as the fog was rolling in and I was able to get a few pictures before they weren't visible anymore. This place is apart of the Oregon Coast Trail and we decided to walk down the trail a bit to see what else there was and I got this beautiful shot of the coastal cliffs in early morning.

Lincoln City, OR - Winter Sunset

I love this picture because I took it with my cell phone. We spent the weekend in Lincoln City for the Jambalaya Cook-off (which I highly recommend going to if your in the area near the end of January). The weather was in our favor somehow, it rained the whole time before arriving AND after we left, but the whole time we were there we had wonderful weather!

MORE TO COME KEEP CHECKING BACK!
